The last angry journal entry's been up for a little while now so i figured it was a good time to shed the grumpy pants and focus on what's good in life. Turns out not much, haha. Today is day one of my how-manyieth attempt to quit smoking and sofar I've lost my access badge at work and almost got hit by a car while crossing the street (completely my fault). Somewhere out there, a driver is pissed at me. I decided it was worth dropping the cigs once again after having one last night, and feeling a certain numbness going down my left arm as i was inhaling. they're renovating the basement - "they" being the parents. Which means my internet and gaming consoles get taken away for a month. I'm battling this though. And I'm doing it by saving up for laptop that's going to come one week too late and a small HDTV that will come 3 weeks into this renovation mess. So here I am, first weekend of renovations and the construction workers are making a racket. Can't watch TV through their noise - and as mentioned earlier, no gaming system.
